Dear Rosa Mystica Friends,

It is an understatement to say 2020 has been a challenging year.

We all battled the COVID pandemic. It made for an extremely different season for Rosa Mystica.  We had to cancel most of our retreats, we lost all the rentals and our Priests that were scheduled to come from overseas, were denied entry.  Despite all of this,The Blessed Mother took care of us. Our volunteers took over mowing, maintenance, cleaning and more. We were able to still have a few very special retreats. We had the Lake at Rosa Mystica consecrated.

We had other blessings as well. While dozens of pilgrims were planting 2500 Blessed St Benedict Medals on the property,
One of the beautiful Statues of Our Lady of Rosa Mystica cried. Our manager Catalina and her husband welcomed their first child. We had our first Baptism at Rosa Mystica. We opened a Chapel For God the Father, which will also be a special place for confessions.

We also had some major setbacks, the loss of beloved benefactor Noreen Von Zwehl and Joanne’s daughter, Laine Dempsey.

We are excited about our plans for 2021, namely opening the Patriotic Rosary Walk and The Relic Museum.

We ask you to consider making a year end donation to Rosa Mystica, possibly by purchasing one of the remaining states in our Patriotic Rosary Walk.

We are eternally grateful to each of you for your support this year.

May Our Blessed Mother Bring Peace to Each of you, especially during the upcoming holiday season.

With the Peace of Christ,

Joanne Von Zwehl &
The Rosa Mystica Foundation
