Rosa Mystica House of Prayer to Hold Dedication Event for First Patriotic Rosary Walk in America
Keynote Speaker: Sister Deidre Byrne

EDMESTON, NY - On Sunday, July 4, 2021, the Rosa Mystica House of Prayer (RMHP), located at 484 Angel Hill Road, Edmeston, New York, will hold a dedication ceremony for the inauguration of the first Patriotic Rosary walk in America. The event will feature keynote speaker, Sister Deidre Byrne. This historic event will bring hundreds of Catholics to RMHP to pray for God’s protection of our Nation.

The walk will follow a path of stones, representing each state of America along the property of RMHP, ending in a larger than life image of Our Lady of America on the lake. The Patriotic Rosary is a beautiful prayer that shows reverence to our God and our Country. It dedicates one Hail Mary in the traditional Catholic Rosary to each State.

“I was inspired to create the Patriotic Rosary Walk by my nationally-recognized painting, titled Our Lady of America draped in the American Flag (photo-attached),” said Joanne Von Zwehl, president of RMHP. “We are honored to welcome Sister Deidre to RMHP for the dedication.”

Sister Deidre (headshot attached) is a surgeon, retired Army Colonel, member of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Religious Order and passionate defender of the unborn.
